Some 64 bit Windows 7 users have installed the UT2 and reported an error when the UT2 starts. The reported error is "Run-time-error... SQL Server WMI provider is not available...". This error usually occurs when SQL Server hasn't been installed correctly.
The UT is compatible with 64 bit Windows 7 with a couple of workarounds:
Users may experience errors when installing the UT2 on a Windows XP Pro Service Pack 3 machine. UT2 uses Microsoft's SQL Server 2005 Express SP2 Database and the UT2 tries in install the database. The database install can fail to install if "MSXML 6 Service Pack 2 (KB954459)" is already installed . This is a well known issue for Microsoft.
This issue is documented here --> http://support.microsoft.com/kb/968749.

Key improvements include:
This new version has several new features. UT2 now uses a free version of Microsoft’s flagship database SQL Server which allows the UT to handle very large amounts of data. To assist in transferring your current projects from older Microsoft Access based UT, UT2 includes a Migration tool.
